HALLOWEEN 6 DISTRIBUTION
This sixth installment in the series was released to theaters September 29, 1995,  after a 6 year Michael Myers hiatus. A Nightfall Production and Dimension Films Release, Halloween 6 - The Curse of Michael Myers was released on VHS/Laserdisc In September of 1996. The laserdisc is  available in Letterboxed format, while the VHS copy is for sale in its Pan and Scan format, with a widescreen edition available on DVD. The infamous Producer's Cut has been found floating around, in which the entire ending (15 minutes worth) is completely different, along with several other key scene changes. Part of this edit can be seen when the movie is shown on syndicated television.Halloween 6 was once again filmed  at 1.85:1.In its box office run, it brought in over $15 million total in the U.S. This is a $3 million rise from the last film, something sequels rarely do. With a budget of $5 million and going up against Brad Pitt in SE7EN, the makers were happy with its earnings. It opened up in second place at the box office.

release the film with no special features. What The disk does inclued are- 1.85:1 Non-Anamorphic
Widescreen, English 2.0 Surround, French Subtitles, Interactive Menus, Scene Access and a
murky-looking Halloween 6 picture. The DVD was priced at $32.95 and to me this disk
is way overpriced.

Halloween 6 was bought back from Cimema Club in June 2002 and then was re-entered to the BBFC in July 2002 and again got a 18 rating. The disc is planned to be released sometime later this year and will most likey be the same fatures as the the US R1 DVD, which is none.Buena Vist bought the rights to the DVD before Anchor Bay could so this is why Halloween 6 isn't included in there upcoming Halloween Box set which includes every Halloween except Halloween 6.
