Daniel Radcliffe
Daniel Radcliffe plays the prestigous role of Harry
Potter in the upcoming movie. He did not answer any of the casting calls that were sent out all around
Britain, but the producer, David Heyman discoveredd him. The story goes,
Daniel was sitting in a theatre, and the Heyman
spotted him. On the spot Heyman asked Daniel if he would be interested in
playing Harry Potter. daniel, after his parents could be persuaded agreed to the role, and the rest is History! |

Rupert Grint
Rupert grint landed the role of harry potter's faithful friend Ron. He got the role after attending a casting call. Rupert couldn't believe he landed the role, and said that there was no bad, or regrettful experience on the set filming everyday. all the children in the cast have also said they all got along well on set. |

Emma watson
Emma Watson plays Hermione Granger, Harry's nosy and know-it-all friend. Emma was reportedly called into her principals office, to be told she had received the role of Hermione. The trio, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint will be returning for the third movie due to start filming in March of 2003. |

James & Oliver Phelps
James plays one half of the imfamous Weasley twins, and his brother Oliver plays the second half. Both brothers were thrilled to get the parts of the weasley twins, and are as well expected for a return with a larger role in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with the Maurader's Map |

Richard Harris
Harris plays the role of Headmaster Albus Dumbledore in Cos and PS. Harris apparently denied the role when it was first ffered, but with a little persuasion from his grandaughter, the whole world benefitted from and amazing Dumbledore. Unfortunatly Harris passed away in October of 2003, and therefore will not be returning for the third movie. |

Maggie Smith
Dame maggie smith plays the role of Head Deputy
mistress Minerva Mcgonagall. She has had a very diverse acting career, but with kids is probably best
recognized for her role as Wendy in Hook alongside Robin Williams. |

Tom Felton
Tom Felton plays Draco MAlfoy, Harry's enemy in the hP movies. I have only ever seen Tom in one other role in a movie called "Anna and the king' With Jodie Foster. With Felton's bleach blond hair, and perfect smirk, he fits quite nicely into his role. |

Robbie Coltrain
Coltrane plays the lovable Giant Rubeus Hagrid in the HP films, keepr of the keys and grounds at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Witchery. Coltrane is known for many roles, but most predominantly to Norht Americans for his roles in the 007 movie opposite Pierce Brosnan. |

Bonnie Wright
Bonnie plays Ginny Wealey, the youngest, and only female Weasley child. Ginny had a very small role in the first movie, but will definitly have a large one in the second, where she becomes imprisoned in the Chamber of Secrets |

Harry Melling
Harry Melling plays Dudley Dursely in the movie, the son of Harry's aunt and uncle. He is a pompus stuck up boy who enjoys pushing harry around. Melling likes to act, and hopes to do more of it. |

Kenneth Branagh
Kenneth Branagh joins the Harry Potter cast for COS as the new DADA teacher. Lockhart is a self-absorbed fruitcake who will no doubt be pertrayed beautifully by Branagh. He is known for various other roles, such as Hamlet |

ian Hart
Ian Hart Played the evil Professor Quirrel in The Philosopher's Stone. Quirrel turns to the dark side unsuspectidley, after a first hand experience in DADA. Eventuall evil envelops him, and Quirrle dies at the hands of Voldemort after possesing his body. |

| Alan Rickman Rickman plays the evil Severus snape. Snape is alway suspected of being the "bad guy" but turns out to just be cold-hearted, with a hate towards Harry. Rickman is a succcessful actor with roles such portraying Rasputin, and a terrorist in one of the Die Hard movies |
