OPENED IN 1979 - CLOSED IN 2001 - This was the theatre with the most screens in the world when it opened in 1979 with 18 and peaked with 21 between 1981 and 1987,
In 1999 the Eaton Centre showed 2nd run movies on a discount policy, the cinemas used 70mm, 35mm & 16mm rear projection, and was owned by Cineplex Odeon.
It was'nt the best theatre in the world, but it sure had alot a cinemas 21 screens at one theatre was alot back in the 1980's.
