BIOGRAPHY

Shannen Maria Doherty was born on April 12 1971 in Memphis Tennassee to her parents Tom and Rosa Doherty. Shannen's acting career began at an early age when she was chosen to play the part of Jenny Wilder in the popular TV drama series "Little house on the prairie" but it was only when she joined the cast of the new Aaron Spelling teen drama "Beverly Hills 90210" she really hit the headlines. A very disruptive private life and constant battles with other cast members and producers meant she was axed from the series at the end of season 4. From 1994 -1998 Shannen appeared few times on television and seemed to dissapear from the media spot light for a while. In the fall of 1998 Shannen made her big TV come back with the HUGE hit TV show Charmed.
