4. THE LEVELS
SCENE 1 - AMBUSH IN GOTHAM PLAZA The Red Triangle Circus Gang has laid a trap for Batman and is harassing shoppers. Litle does Batman know, this is only the beginning. This level follows closely the first action set of the film. In the end, you will have to rescue Selina Kyle from a harassing clown.
SCENE 2 - BATTLE IN THE STREETS The Gotham City streets are no place for decent citizens. The Red Triangle Circus Gang is still on the loose. Time to tie up loose ends. This stage follows the second major action set of the film. In the end, Batman meets the Tattooed Strongman as in the film, and after he kills him the Penguin appears.
SCENE 3 - ON IN THE PROWL After battling the Circus Gang in the streets, Batman discovers that the Penguin is their boss. While they confront each other, Catwoman appears and a building blows up. Batman runs after her. As the previous levels, this one follows the film closely. In the end, Catwoman falls in the first of her nine deaths.
SCENE 4 - THE PENGUIN'S TRAP Lured into a darkened building by the Penguin, Batman will have his hands full again. The Ice Princess is taken hostage and there's little time to plan his moves. The Ice Princess kidnapping sequence is played here. In the end, after Batman defeats the Penguin, Ice Princess falls to her inevitable demise.
SCENE 5 - THE BATMOBILE The police believe that Batman is responsible for the death of the Ice Princess, and he has no time to explain. Batman tries to escape with the batmobile, but the streets are full of Biker Clowns from the Circus Gang.. Another major action piece of the film is played here, in Top Gear (a classic SNES racer) style.
SCENE 6 - CIRCUS TRAIN After his plan to become the mayor is foiled, the Penguin escapes to his lair and forwards his revenge plan. To kidnap all the first born sons of Gotham City with his Gang. Batman learns about it and attacks the Circus Train. Like the film, Batman has to apprehend the Organ Grinder to rescue the captured the children.
SCENE 7 - THE PENGUIN'S LAIR The battle finally moves to the Penguin's Lair, the Artic World in the old Gotham Zoo. The Penguin plans to unleash an army of penguins with rockets at their back, but Batman is ready to stop him in his tracks. As in the film, the battle reaches the Old Gotham Zoo, with Batman's final confrontation with the Penguin himself.
