Ok, I remember this meet, it was right by the water in Vallejo. it's not as bad as E-40 and other Contra Costa County rappers make it out to be. Again my car was the first car I took pictures of because that never gets old.
What was weird was that some people on bicycles came riding up right when everyone else was at the restaurant. One guy pointed in the direction of a couple of the mk4's and asked, "Do these guys do their own work?" I was stuck for an answer because I didn't want to acknowledge a bad stereotype, nor did I want to lie. I actually forgot what I said, but it was enough for them to look around for five more minutes before bicycling off.
I take these pictures for everyone who wants a Supra but can't afford it for practicality reasons. Because face it, even though these cars sold for $30,000 in the late eighties and early nineties, they've depreciated so much that $500 can get you a barely running Supra. I'm not in denial about this. This is also for all the people that used to have Supras but now wander aimlessly up to strangers with Supras in parking lots talking about "the good old days" they had with their mk3 and how they regret the day that they parted ways with it. There is never going to be a day like today, tomorrow. This is it.
Shoutout to Boyer for crusing with me to this meet from Emeryville, KBR performance for starting up this meet and picking a time and place for it to happen, r1otvenom, Sacramento crew again and all the attendants.
