A beginning akin to 'Welcome to the Hellmouth'
A bright day in front of her school. A small town, small school, no demon sightings as of yet. That's when they start jumping out at her, ready to eat her alive, quite literally. But then, "This is Sunnydale. How bad an evil could it be?"
Yeah. That's about where I am right now. Fought the evil that is HTML, and just when I thought I had escaped, "WHAM. Hello glass ceiling." Came back to try again. I hope to start a decent Buffy page; some links, a bit of worth-reading fanfic, a picture or two, episode summaries. What could go wrong?
Well, there's the incredible chance that people won't know that I exist. Or that I'll get so enraged at the computer that I'll throw it against a wall sending shards of glass into my eyes. Or that all the comments sent in are not-so-constructive criticism. Or that when I ask for fanfic submissions, all I get is:
Spike: Hey Buffy. Wanna shag?
Buffy: You're a pig, Spike. (starts unbuttoning her shirt...)
I'm not saying that style of writing doesn't have it's own charm- ok, maybe I am. But the point is that the odds are against me. Help me out. Send some stuff in: stories, helpful comments, something to get me rolling. Whatever you send WILL be appreciated, I promise. And remember, I'm not as stupid as I sound, just very, very bored.~
