Overview:

The rebuilding of the Coyote touman under Khan Sullivan Koga taxed the Clan's resources to the limit - particularly advanced OmniMechs such as the Savage Coyote.

What was needed was a solid assault mech based on conventional technology. Galaxy Commander Anna Skyes went one step further and worked with the top Coyote scientists to create a totem mech that would inspire their warriors.

Not surprisingly, the end result was a huge, powerful, four-legged machine that should prove to be a deadly predator, just like the Clan's namesake.

Capabilities:

The Liger's main armament is shared equally between the three main categories, boasting a gauss rifle, ERPPC and ATM-12 heavy missile launcher.

This alone can produce a frightening barrage of firepower, capable of crippling or at least severely damaging most other mechs with a single volley.

Backing these up are a pair of medium pulse lasers - giving the Liger a short-to-medium range rapid-fire capability too...a need often neglected in assault mech designs.

A little light in the armour department compared to many assault mechs, carrying just 15.5 tons of standard plating, it also mounts an ECM suite to make it harder to target.
