Here's a view from the yard. We are situated on the banks of the Donegal Creek. Located at the former Donegal Producers Farm. We have numerous springs in our yard, and are just down the road from the Donegal Plantation, in East Donegal Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
I am one of very few coonhunters in this area. It's very difficult to find places to hunt because of development, and only small tracts of woods to hunt in. As well as irate transplanted city slickers.
I have walker dogs, but will hunt anything. I have only been involved in coonhunting for a short period of time. Right now I'm hunting an 11 month old gyp named Hunter that I plan on putting in the hunts in the fall.
I also enjoy showing hounds on the bench as well as in the woods. I think a hound should be dual purpose.
