to die
so others can live
nature
survival of the fittest
shore eroded
rocks worn
the soul corroded
no life
no health
pain induced
heart attack?
broken heart
everything’s broken
soundless noise
the sun
brilliant ball of gas
burning billions of miles away
in space
spaced out
with the recession of lighte
the darkness comes
banished by tthe flick of a switch
until the batteries die
inches away
before darkness
foul and black
consumes the land
