three years ago, last year at camp for my brother, one of the few time I was able to be at
the same camp. at vespers I was too depressed to think, I could deserve the reaffirmation
of baptism, and too frightened to do the whole public(sort of) christian thing. so I didn’t
go up, and my brother came over to me he put his arm around my shoulder asked me if I
was okay. he gave me a hug and for the firtst time, I didn’t feel like we where just two
guys, or me little brother in the shadow of Steve’s accomlishments. we where equals. I
come here every year searching for something and I thinkg that is really all any of us are
looking for, a little love, a little companionship, and a little understanding.
