Paris Aquilo Serafin has lead a life that many would kill for. His father, Claudius, is an Italian photographer who lived on Cyprus for most of his life, traveling to Milan and Rome to do portraits of famous wizards and the occasional muggle. It was on one of these trips that Claudius met Paris's mother, a visiting Irish witch called Adrienne.
His older brother Dominic, was not very successful at Hogwarts. He graduated a Gryffindor, but had disciplinary as well as academic troubles while there. The Serafins realized this was probably due to his inability to adjust from so much childhood traveling. They promptly returned to London so that Paris and Massimo might enjoy a quality education in the magical arts. It was there that Paris was sorted into Hufflepuff and began his career at Hogwarts. Always popular and adaptable as a child, the handsome lad had no problems getting along with his fellow students. Although not the most adept learner, Paris works hard and studies often to secure good grades. He is also known for being outgoing, a bit vain, often flaunting his good looks and mellifluous voice to gain the favor of witches. A reputation as song-bird and a born Romeo, he has been known to romance in English, Italian and Gaelic.
When not reading up for the next Potions test, the fourth year Hufflepuff can be seen sketching, practicing Quidditch (chaser is his favored position) and, of course, singing. For his fifth year, Paris is taking Astronomy, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, History of Magic, Potions, Transfiguration, Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, and Care of Magical Creatures.
