After a promising 2002 season the Falcons have started the 2003 campaign with a nightmare. The games' most exciting player and possible MVP Candidate Mike Vick went down in the first quarter of their preason game vs. Baltimore. It may have been the new turf in the Dome combined with the hit he took, but either way Atlanta is in a world of trouble unless backup QB Doug Johnson can make things happen until week 5 of the regular season when Vick is expected to return. Vick dazzled everyone in the 2002 season when he amassed a shade under 3000 yards passing and a rediculous 777 yards rushing..he is the games most versatile player and a savior to people like myself who have endured many painful seasons from the Chris Miller, Andre Rison, and Deion Sanders days to the heartbreaking loss in the 1998 Superbowl.
