John's acting and producing career has spanned over 20 years. He earned his first Emmy nomination portraying Blackie Parrish on the hit soap General Hospital. His star continued to rise with his memorable role on the long-running ABC series Full House. Most recently he starred in the ABC romantic comedy Thieves, as well as the black comedy Dropping Out, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. John also has numerous producing credits to his name, including MTV's Virgin Chronicles, and the 2000 miniseries Beach Boys: An American Family, for which he received his second Emmy nomination. He is currently producing The Martin and Lewis Story for CBS. John has also displayed his musical talents for more than 15 years while touring and performing with The Beach Boys. |
