LIEUTENANT COMMANDER JULIAN BASHIR
Julian Subatoi Bashir, MD, is best known as Chief Medical Officer of the Federation outpost Deep Space 9. After graduating from Starfleet Medical Academy, Bashir chose DS9 as his first duty assignment. At the time, it was one of the most remote outposts available, located beyond the farthest reaches of the Federation, allowing Bashir the chance to study "real frontier medicine".
After the Dominion War, Doctor Bashir remained on the station and continues to serve as Chief Medical Officer as well medical adviser to Bajor.
CAPTAIN CHAKOTAY
Chakotay was admitted to Starfleet Academy at age 15 on the recommendation of Captain Demora Sulu (daughter of Captain Hikaru Sulu of USS Excelsior fame). Graduating in 2348, he then served aboard a number of Starships, including USS Merrimac, and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander before becoming an instructor at Starfleet's Advanced Tactical Training school. He resigned in 2368 to join the Maquis, prompted by his father's death fighting Cardassians on the tribe's homeworld along the Demilitarized Zone. In 2371, while Starfleet was trying to capture him, he and his crew were pulled into the Delta Quadrant and forced to merge with the crew of USS Voyager, where he served as first officer during its seven-year journey home, under Captain Kathryn Janeway.
Upon Voyager's return to Earth in 2377, the surviving former Maquis were acquitted and Chakotay chose to remain in Starfleet. On Vice Admiral Janeway's recommendation, he was promoted to captain in 2379 and given command of USS Great Plains (Steamrunner-class).
With the return of Enterprise to Earth for repairs after the Shinzon Incident in 2379, Crusher was promoted to Vice Admiral and became head of Starfleet Medical once again.
Lieutenant Crusher is assigned as assistant Chief of Engineering aboard the USS "Titan," commanded by Captain William Riker.
At the conclusion of the Dominion War, Ezri remained on Deep Space 9 and is currently assigned as station's counselor.
VICE ADMIRAL KATHRYN JANEWAY
Kathryn Janeway is most noted for her service as captain of USS Voyager,the first Federation starship to successfully traverse the Delta Quadrant. Voyager encountering dozens of new planets and civilizations over the course of seven years. Janeway and her crew also survived numerous encounters with the Borg.
After Voyager's return to Earth in 2378, Janeway was promoted to Vice Admiral and assigned to Starfleet Command.
LIEUTENANT COMMANDER HARRY KIM
Harry S.L. Kim is best known for serving as operations officer aboard USS Voyager during the seven years it was lost in the Delta Quadrant. He graduated from Starfleet Academy as valedictorian of his class, having earned Interstellar Honors, on stardate 47918, and requested duty aboard Voyager on stardate 47923. Upon returning to Earth in 2378, Kim was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and now serves as Chief of Security on USS Great Plains, under the command of Captain Chakotay.
COMMANDER GEORDI LaFORGE
Geordi La Forge held the rank of lieutenant commander and was the chief engineer of the USS Enterprise-D and USS Enterprise-E, both under Captain Jean-Luc Picard.
In 2379, following the Shinzon Incident involving the Enterprise in Romulan space, and the subsequent return of the Enterprise to Earth for repairs, LaForge was promoted to the rank of commander. Currently, he is overseeing the Enterprise's repairs and refit at San Francisco Fleet Yards.
CHANCELLOR MARTOKChancellor Martok's good will toward the Federation has not faded since the Dominion War and the Klingon Empire remains a staunch ally. His government is beset by the difficult challenge of rebuilding the Klingon Defense Forces while suppressing scattered rebellions throughout the Empire.
KIRA NERYS
Kira Nerys was a colonel in the Bajoran Militia, following years in the Bajoran Resistance during the Cardassian Occupation, and an honorary Starfleet Commander for a brief period during the Dominion War, 2375. She served as Bajoran liaison officer
on Starfleet station Deep Space 9 and later assumed command of the station. Nerys was integral in the survival of the Cardassian Rebellion against the Dominion.
Following the War and Bajor's admittance to the United Federation of Planets in 2377, Kira resigned her commissions and became a member of the Bajoran Planetary Council. She lives on Bajor and visits Deep Space 9 frequently.
LIEUTENANT NOG
Nog is a Ferengi male, the nephew of Quark. He was the first Ferengi to enter Starfleet, and served aboard Deep Space 9 and the USS Defiant during many of the most important battles of the Dominion War. When the War ended in 2375, Nog was promoted to lieutenant junior grade in one of Captain Benjamin Sisko's last official acts as commanding officer of DS9.
Promoted to lieutenant in 2379, Nog currently serves as Operations Officer on DS9.
Paris moved to Boreth with his wife and daughter, but re-joined Starfleet in 2380 and was promoted to Commander (like many on Voyager, he gained two steps in rank, to make up for the time spent in the Delta Quadrant). He currently serves as first officer of USS -----, under the command of Captain Chakotay.
ADMIRAL PICARD
Jean-Luc Picard is the most celebrated Starfleet officer of the latter half of the 24th century. He served as commanding officer of the USS Stargazer, followed by USS Enterprise-D and the Enterprise-E. In these roles, Picard not only witnessed the major turning points of recent galactic history, but played a key role in them. As captain of the Federation's flagship he made first contact with no fewer than 27 alien species, including the Ferengi and the Borg. In 2365, Picard served as Arbiter of Succession, choosing the former leader of the Klingon Empire, Chancellor Gowron, and exposing the Romulan Star Empire as backers of his chief rivals. In 2387, he aided a dissident underground movement on the Romulan homeworld and, in 2379, became involved in events following the military coup led by Shinzon of Remus (Picard's own clone).
In 2380, Picard accepted promotion to Admiral and is currently on extended leave on Earth while the Enterprise-E is undergoing repairs.
CAPTAIN WILLIAM RIKER
Captain William Thomas Riker is a noted Starfleet officer, perhaps best known for his long assignment as First Officer under Captain Jean-Luc Picard aboard the USS Enterprise-D and, later, the USS Enterprise-E. In 2379, he finally accepted a promotion to captain and was assigned to the new Prometheus-class USS Titan, with wife Deanna Troi as ship's counselor.
The Titan is currently leading Starfleet Task Force Omega patrolling the Romulan Neutral Zone.
ADMIRAL WILLIAM ROSS
William J. Ross was the senior Starfleet official in command of military operations during the Dominion War. As Vice Admiral, Ross commanded Starbase 375. As head of Starfleet forces, he coordinated the war from Starbase 375, led the Allies during the Battle of Cardassia, and presided over the signing of the Treaty of Bajor, which ended the war.
Admiral Ross became Starfleet Chief of Staff in 2378.
CAPTAIN MONTGOMERY SCOTT
Scotty to his shipmates, was chief engineer of both the USS Enterprise and the USS Enterprise-A for a period of nearly thirty years. In 2294, following his retirement from Starfleet, Scott traveled aboard the USS Jenolan to the Norpin colony, where he planned to spend his retirement. The ship, however, disappeared and was listed as lost by Starfleet until 2369 when it's wreckage was discovered on the surface of a Dyson sphere by the USS Enterprise-D (What are the odds!). Scott and fellow engineer Matt Franklin, the only survivors, had rigged the Jenolan's transporter systems to preserve their patterns for nearly 75 years in the transporter buffer. After Scott helped the Enterprise escape from the Dyson sphere, Captain Picard rewarded him with the Enterprise's shuttlecraft Goddard. With it, Montgomery Scott set off to tour the galaxy ...
Seven's romantic relationship with Chakotay ended soon after their return. She is currently living as a civilian on Earth and has attained much undesired celebrity.
JAKE SISKOJake remained on DS9 for a short time after his father's disappearance, reluctant to leave the station or Kira Nerys, who had become very much a part of the family. Eventually, he returned to Earth to rejoin his granbdfather and attend the Pennington School. Currently, Jake Sisko lives in New Orleans and works as a reporter for the Federation News Service.
Following the Dominion War and the Romulan withdrawal into isolation, Ambassador Spock has retired to Vulcan.
B'ELANNA TORRES
B'Elanna Torres is a Klingon-Human hybrid who served as Chief Engineer on the Federation starship USS Voyager for seven years in the Delta Quadrant, under Captain Kathryn Janeway. She married Lieutenant Tom Paris aboard Voyager in 2377, gave birth to a daughter, Miral, and returned to earth with the rest of the crew in 2378. After acquittal for her actions as a member of the Maquis, B'Elanna left Starfleet and moved to Boreth with her husband and daughter. She remains there while Commander Paris continues to serve in uniform.
COMMANDER DEANNA TROI
Deanna Troi is a half-Betazoid, half-Human Starfleet officer who served under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard as ship's counselor aboard the USS Enterprise-D and Enterprise-E. In 2379, Troi married long-time friend and crewmate, William Riker, and transferred to the USS Titan under his command.
COMMANDER TUVOK
Tuvok graduated from Starfleet Academy in 2293 and was assigned to the USS Excelsior under the command of Captain Hikaru Sulu as a junior science officer. He was present during the Excelsior's attempt to rescue James T. Kirk and Leonard McCoy from the Klingon penal colony on Rura Penthe. After the Excelsior's three-year mission in the Beta Quadrant ended, Tuvok resigned his commission. He reentered Starfleet in 2349 and served aboard the USS Wyoming, then as an instructor at Starfleet Academy for sixteen years. Tuvok first met Kathryn Janeway in 2356. As a lieutenant, he was assigned to Voyager as security officer when, in 2371, he infiltrated the crew of the Maquis raider commanded by former Starfleet officer, Chakotay.
Tuvok returned to Earth with Voyager in 2378 and promptly resigned again, returning to Vulcan to be with his wife and children.
AMBASSADOR WORF
Worf, son of Mogh of the Klingon House of Martok, of the Human family Rozhenko, father of Alexander Rozhenko, Starfleet officer and soldier of the Empire, bane of the House of Duras and slayer of Gowron � is one of the most influential Klingons of the latter half of the 24th century. He served as security chief under Captain Jean-luc Picard aboard both the USS Enterprise-D and Enterprise-E, and under Captain Benjamin Sisko on Deep Space 9. At the Battle of Sector 001, Commander Worf commanded USS Defiant against the Borg (the ship was damaged and abandoned, but later recovered).
After the Dominion War, Commander Worf left Starfleet and accepted appointment as Federation Ambassador to the Klingon Empire. He now lives on Q'onos, but often travels to Earth.
While Voyager was in the Delta Quadrant, the EMH Mark I was replaced by a more advanced EMH Mark II and the Doctor's "brothers" became obsolete. After Voyager's return to Earth in 2378, the Doctor was granted sentient rights as an individual and protections under the Federation Charter. Adopting the name Zimmerman, after the creator of the original EMH program, he splits his time between teaching at Starfleet Medical Academy and contributing to a "think tank" along with Seven of Nine.
