Montreal Show @ Club Soda
(may 10th 2004)

My REVIEW from the show and my little trip @ Montreal:P I knew the guys arrived on May 8th. It made me dream a lot. So here it begin...

Sunday 9th
I had put all my stuff together the day before. I began to feel nervous coz I knew I'll meet lots of new guys and maybe TR. I left my nowhere town called Rivière-du-Loup at 3PM. My mother and I arrived @ Boucherville at 8PM. So it took 5 hours to be on the borderline of Montreal. When I finally reach our hotelroom(we had to fight with the keys to let us get in). I called Gab. I had never met her before but there is a beginning to everything;) We decide that she would take me where I was and let's go somewhere to have a chat. I really like this girl!! I was back in the hotel at 11.

The Day - May 10th
We got up quite early to prepare ourselves. We left and try to find our way to the Club Soda. It was difficult to find a parking. When we got in front of the venue, there was 2 girls already there. I asked her if I can sit beside her or I would have the door hitting me every 10 minutes. She asked my name as I did. !SURPRISE! She is Caroline! A girl from the forum. Her friend who is mine now;) is named Marie-Ève or just Mary:P! We had to wait until noon to see other fans and a bit later Jess and Steph (from Ottawa, Ontario) joined us by taxi. She gave me a HUGE hug! I was so happy to see her. 'Sorry Jess if I didn't look so happy. I just stoned lol! I was searching my english vocabulary somewhere in my head:P' I, Jess and Steph went to Burger King. That was so damn funny. We were checking the new people arriving. We wanted to keep our place. (Mine beside the door, and Jess'one---> her friendly pole:P). Laurie arrived in the afternoon and Gab and her boyfriend later coz they were working. Angelupo (Alberto) recognized me coz of my pink pant and black dress hahaha... I think i was the only one dress like that . That's bad i didn't talk with him before the gig.

Then Eero came outside to talk with us! You know this story:P That was nice Everybody froze except Caroline. 'and she is supposed to be shy!!' When people began to recognize him. He went inside. There were lotssss of French names... bless him :D! We could hear the soundcheck pretty well. Aki's drums made me dream... I LOVE drums!!! That was one of the best day ever... that was fucking funny! *Gosh I really miss you guys*

At 7 PM, a guy let us get in the VIP room. And at 8 o'clock, we ran toward the stage. I was scared to lose my shoes (they have no back). I was front row center with Caroline and Marie-Ève! My mother was on the other side of Caroline and Gab just beside me ! Sometimes Eero walked on stage. The supporting band was "Dirty Bird". I like their music but not the singer. Like always they put Funeral Song before they came on stage. They began to play at about 10 PM! When they went on stage lots of feelings crossed my little head. I've never feel like this before. One question was in my head... Why did they put little dwarfs on stage instead of Lauri and Aki No I'm kidding!! They looked so perfectand they played better than I've dream of.

I was so excited. I was jumping like mad. 'Sorry Mary & Gab! I hit you when I was jumping '. They played old songs and obviously I knew them. Some girls were looking very weird at me:P. I don't know if the guys noticed though;) During the song "Days" I think Lauri was looking in the front row and when he saw me, he did a really weird face lol. He was staring at me with a searching face and a bit later he was like "Oh!!! That's her! And then he I think he was trying to find out where he had seen me before. HAHAHAHA! And maybe he found;) Or that's just my very good imagination . The gig passed to fast. I didn't want to let them go... Anyway I can't change this. I was all sweaty that was SO discusting. We all took a beautiful pic of us in the venue -here- before running to the back door. I was speaking so loud. I didn't hear properly. I guess that's the price of a spectacular show;) When we could breathe normaly we started to run outside. Caroline knew where the door was coz she had lots of experience with all those David's shows and backstage passes:P When we all joined at the back we deduced that it will be very hard to have pics and autographes... So we decided to sit on the sidewalk and let those creepy fan blocking the door. After a while I moved on the other side of the street to talk with the others (Gab, Jess, Steph, Angelupo...). Then the first white van came to the door ( weird tourbus:P... poor them they had no playstation!!) Anyway! Then Eero and Pauli found their way to the van. That's bad we weren't enough quick to ask them autographes or pics except Angelupo who always find a way to have what he want!! Lucky him!! They signed a few things and then they were gone. So i got none of them We will see next time Then we waited and waited and waited. Some girls were playing with the unlocked door and opened it. Angelupo told me " I think I've seen Lauri and Aki leaving by the front door". I got all excited AGAIN! I told him to take a look and I would check the back door. We just have to shout at each other if there is something. That was funny to see me... a little girl who didn't know where to go so I was walking back and forth on the sidewalk. I saw Angelupo starting to run. Hum... That was suspect so i began to walk to join him. I heard him shouting "VANESSSSAAAAA" and then he shout to a girl "Tell Vanessa to come here". I was waling a bit faster but that was hard there was big hole in the ground and I was trying not to hurt myself. A girl turned and shout my name once more... I started to run and Fuck off if I got injuries. I finally reached the street and I nearly bumped into a prostitute oupppss...lol When he saw me he was talking so loud I could hear him saying that's me who had make the first canadian website and blablabla...

(Thank you AGAIN little Angelupo. That was really nice of you;)) When I got to the car Lauri had got in the car. I stopped to catch my breathe. I was passing again and again that Angelupo shout at me that Lauri and Aki were there. I woke up. Shit!!! I looked up and he was waving at me and saying hello to me I did the same! Obviously I was opening my camera to ask him to take a pic and got an autograph and those 2 bitchy girls bumped into me. I found myself at the back grrrr... I even tried to take a pic of Lauri who was now protected by a guy who sit beside him... The girls were trying to get into the van:S they were mad!! So I manage to take a pic of him at the back of the van. That was funny he was trying to stay in the focus of my cam. (Well that's what I think:S) I forgot about the autograph thing and went back to talk with Angelupo and other guys. There were too many people for me to try. And then angelupo said " Hey do you want me to take a pic of you and Aki?" I was like "what? Aki... Where is he...?" I turned and ouppsss he was sitting in the van behind me I had not notice him.:S I felt bad lol! But I couldn't miss that chance so I got closer of Aki (who was in the car lol) and look at the result!-here- (that's the same at the top of the page)
Everytime I think to it I started to laugh!! He is a good therapy. After a while, They decided to leave. We all waved at them and said Good-byes! I hope they were not traumatise by me and now they think I am a good fan and they can party with me/us!!! We came back to join the other who were to tired of waiting behind. Jess was still blowing her bubbles HAHAHAHAHA! And then we all knew it was time to say goodbye. Marie-Ève was nearly crying. They all hugged me and even Gab asked her boyfriend to stop the car and then run back to me for an other hug! I really love you guys! That's magic in one day, we all knew each other better then we usually do in real life (normal daily life). We were supposed to all go party after... that's why they spend the day telling that I was 18 Unfortunatly we were all fucking tired and my mother was falling asleep on the street. We decided to do it another time, after another gig. That's our next plan:P And this time we will follow it. I and my mother got into the car, leaving this place behind to come back to the reality. Well we came back to it later coz we got lost in the city!!! I was in my bed at 2AM! (well the motel's one:P).

Tuesday - May 11
We quited in the morning to be sure that I could watch them on TV. Coz my mother said that it will be to late if we went to Musique Plus and stuff. So we agreed to arrive in time. At least for me to watch it. Even though i could have got tickets to see them live another time. When it began I really looked silly. Imagine... I was in front of my TV: jumping and waving at all my friends who were there! The guys were really good. But OMG they didn't look at ease there. Lauri looked shy but that's cute i think! And then they leave for the Toronto show. That was the last time for a couple of months that I would see them. But at least they "drug" me enough so now i'm dependante to their live music show;) I hope next time will be soon coz I miss them and my new real friends! Our next meeting is in a couple of week! We will ROCK the first row AGAIN!!!
