J -Lauri your 2003 was an amazing year what will u remember the best?
Lauri- That in the shadows became such a hit in so many countries. That was the beginnig for us. We thought it could be a hit but we were not prepared it would happen so fast. It was a hectic year with a lot of travellong and meeting new people and it´s fun even though it´s a job.
J- So what are u expecting of the new year?
Lauri- To play live around the world both for our new fans and old ones. We´ll play in Europe in Us and in japan. I´m really lookiing forward to play in Iceland. The nature there seem to be so nice and then Björk is from there.
J- What are u doing on your spare time?
Lauri- I call my friends and tell them now it´s time to party. I like the clubs in Helsinki since there are many to pick from. Otherwise I don´t have a special hobby. I don´t do sports and don´t like tv games.
J- How do u keep yourself in shape then?
Lauri- During the gigs I get all I need. When I was younger i ride the Bmx and I had a skateboard. But I´d really like to begun to surf. I did it in Hawai a while ago and it was real fun. The waves had so much powers.
J- What´s the most expensive thing you´ve bought?
Lauri- I bought a flat in Helsinki last year that really is too big for me but I think I can need it in the future.
J- Have u a good contact with your parents?
Lauri- Yeah they´ve always supported me to 100 % They made me play the piano when I was 5 and even when I decided to stop the school they supported me ( You surely have great parent can we change Lauri he he)
J- What were u like in school?
Lauri- We were a group that didn´t fit in. We´d crazy outfits and hairs and stuff. Totally different from the sport freaks. It was a very important time in my life. That was when I found myself and I begun to discover bands like Nirvana Metallica I made my first band and watched my first gig. That was when I realized I wanted to be a rockstar.
J- What about girls then?
Lauri- I was not like the other guys and I think some thought I was cool and other thought I was crazy. Maybe they thought I had a bif confidence. Not necesrialy true.
J- Do u have any girlfriend now?
Lauri- No j- What about dates then? Lauri- No dates for a while actually. Well I could say I really dont have time for it but to be honest I would not be in a relationship until where I am. I mean I don´t believe in playing games
J- What makes a person sexy?
Lauri- Beliveving in yourself and to be safed about yourself. It´s not really about the looks.
J- Is it hard to find the right one?
Lauri- It can be expecially when you´re in a band. You´re seldom home and live kind of a night life. It can be hard to live with someone who lives a " normal life" and someone who goes to the job and then want to watch tv and stuff.
J- But it´s easy to get girls if you´re a rockstar or?
Lauri- Yeah it is but this life also makes me think about who to trust. I don´t trust everybody.
J- Will u ever marry and get kids?
Lauri- Deep inside I think I´m the type to marry and get some kids even if it seems pretty far away now. But one day I´ll probably sit there and play with my kids hopefully.
