Joy in memories, in things of every day living
Relationships..you, me, eachother...family, coworkers...with pets and nature---Sadie. Are
relationships another Tool from Heven's Toolbox? Interaction demands some sort of
relationship. So, how do we handle this tool and learn its fine points?
"Blood is thicker than water" would seem to tell me some is born in us, a given tool. Yet, I know
in truth of water thicker than the bond of family, of the same blood. It is not a given. A happy
bubbling brook may replace a painful bond of blood and press it into the past with deep memory.
So, there is some of it with human relationships. Blessed are those with loving family, friends and memory to keep forever in love..such is preferred use of this tool of relationship.The Toolbox reveals another bond, one of blood and water... |
Joy is often in Faith, Hope, Love
Soul or Sole...from in your heart or beating the pavement to get there--
Joy found in faith simply depends on where you place you faith, doesn't it? Is one of the
Tools found in Heaven's Toolbox an innate desire for man to find a greater power and a home
for faith greater than man?
Humans have worshipped heavenly bodies such as the sun, put faith in arrangements of stars and
put faith in personal and human accomplishment such as the sciences. Some put faith in drugs, earthly things, using others, self-centered lives. My sister died recently directly or spinoff of such dependence. So Sad. A larger view of the graphic is here. There is more for us. MUCH MORE is there if we look. |
Joy in Discovery
There is Joy in Discovery!
From a small baby discovering its toes..and that he or she can reach them, to a scientist
believing ancient life may be reconstituted from dna trapped in
Amber, discovery has no imposed age limits. More often, it is the human who imposes
limits by becoming stale to surroundings, beauty and discovery.
Is it possible for a hungry family in a land of famine to find joy in discovery? Is it possible for
someone as rich and wise as biblical King Solomon to lose that sense of awe? He lost it, chasing the wind. Perhaps a relook in the toolbox for discovery discarded was in order for Solomon.
To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born, And a time to die;
A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war,
And a time of peace. |
