               The Sects

The Sects are the groups with-in the Clan. They hold in together and allow Hierchy. Inside each Sect are a few kinds of "subclasses" to guide roleplaying. There are 5 Sects:

The Scarlet Brotherhood

Leader: The Father of Obedience

Alignments: LE, NE, CE, TN, CN, LN

Classes Accepted: Rogue, Monk, Bard (Must have one of these as highest if multiclassed)

Overview: This Sect specializes in assassination, blackmail, and espionage. They are hidden from most eyes though they are scattered throughout Dysotopia. The only ones who know their true efforts is the Shadow Clan leader and the members of the Brotherhood. Other than this little is known.

Subclasses:

Bounty Hunter: This is a hunter of men, skilled in tracking quarry and bringing them back alive. They take few jobs outside the Brotherhood or the Clan. They have been nkown to take assassination jobs.

Blade: The Blade is an expert fighter ranking up with the paladins. He loves to learn new skills and uses every weopon available to him. Blades are known to torture their victims simply for the fun of it.

Stalker: The Stalker is especially skilled in hiding and escaping authorities. He tends to scam people out of their money and is as intelligent as any sorcerer or wizard. (EX: Mr. Red Hashmeer)

The Court of Spellfire

Leader: High Caster

Alignments: LE, NE, CE, CN, TN, LN

Classes: Sorcerer and Wizard

Overview: They are the backbone of the Shadow Clan. Sometimes they get a bit chaotic and out of control. Like most Sects they have their own agenda that comes right after the Clan's agenda. They are usually near the front when the Clan goes to war.

No Subclasses except for specialist mages

The Unholy Worshipers

Leader: His (Her) Venerable Reverance

Alignments: LE, NE, CE, CN, TN, LN

Classes: Druid and Cleric

Special Requests: Must worship an evil or nuetral god (Does not need to be supported by Dysotopia)

Overview: These guys are both Fighters and Healers for the Clan. They tend to prefer swords and work in a team. Their leader is much respected and held as one of the best Clerics in Dysotopia. Those that wish to join this Sect are chosen and validated as well as interviewed. No one gets in easy.

Subclasses:

Battle Clerics: These clerics are more of the fighter style. They use buffing magic and can chop down any fighter. They do not rely on spells that much and tend to forget about them while in battle.

Healers: These guys head out into the battlefeild with healing spells ready. They are not the greatest fighters and tend to use almost all their magic for healing but they can defend themselves when needed.

Casters: Casters are the type of clerics who use tons of battle spells and large area spells. They sometimes tend to destroy everything in their path and destroy things (like houses) by accident.

The Avenger's Regiment

Leader: His (Her) Lord (Lady) General

Alignments: LE, NE, CE, CN, TN, LN

Classes: Fighters, Barbarians, Monks, and Rangers

Overview: The Regiment is the top fighting organization of the Clan. They're the ones who are slaying its enemies and fighting outright. They are known and feared by everyone and tend to come up with pointless titles such as "John Dragon Slayer of the East".

Subclasses:

Slayers: These are the ones that head straight into battle and kill everything in their path. They sometimes get quite chaotic and destructive. They are amazing fighters and everyone has a right to fear them.

Beserkers: Only those who are partly barbaric (at least 1 lvl of barbarian) can choose this Subclass. Beserkers can fight longer, harder, and more savagely than any human has a right to.

Archers: Their life revolves around the bow-and-arrow. Archers are expert marksman and can make almost any shot, no matter how difficult. It is said they can shoot an enemy in the eye from 50 paces.

The Freelancers

Leader: High Freelancer

Classes: Any

Alignments: LE, NE, CN, TN, LN

Overview: This guys don't fit in anywhere. They are more out of the way and do what they please. They listen only to the leader of the Clan or to the High Freelancer.
