Reporter: Dante, welcome to the XPF.

Dante: Thanks.

Reporter: Well, what are your thoughts on the collapse of the AIFL?

Dante: I'm extremely disappointed. I was looking forward to playing in that league. It looked like everything was going fine. There were a lot of players interested as well as excited in the league, and it seemed as if it was going to be a great football league. We got the draft done, and usually leagues will start when the draft gets finished with. But I guess that there was something wrong that I didn't know about until it finally just collapsed. It's definitely disappointing that I worked so hard in order to get in shape for AIFL in order to be a great player. But now, I guess that it's not completely gone to waste, now with the XPF opening up now.

Reporter: What do you think about the XPF?

Dante: Well, I think that this should end up being a great league. Everything does resemble the things that AIFL had, with a few things varying. However, I don't think that I should be making judgements about leagues anymore before I get to see them actually up and running. It seems that now a days, leagues are opening up and then collapsing within a matter of weeks. It's really gotten out of hand. Hopefully, this isn't one of those leagues, however it is definitely a possibility, as that is a possibility for every other league that opens up for business. Everything just seems to be working fine so far with this league, and everyone seems to be very interactive with each other. It should be fun.

Reporter: Are there any adjustements that you have to make in order to be successful in this league?

Dante: Well, I'm not exactly sure if there's anything that I really need to change in order to be successful. This is basically similar to the league that AIFL was, so I don't think that there's anything drastic that I need to do. But I will be continuing to improve, and that doesn't matter what league I'm in, if any. Change isn't necessarily always a good thing. I think that my workout routines have been good to me so far. It's keeping me fresh and alert all the time and physically fit. I think that I'm going to be one of the more fit running backs that are going to be in this league.

Reporter: Have you spoken with any of the owners so far?

Dante: I haven't really had an actual conversation with any of the owners thus far. I've had a few quick words with a couple of them, but nothing too deep. We just talked about the potential for this league and maybe a quick little bit about if I would be interested in playing for their organization. My mind is very open to all and any teams. I'd be happy to play anywhere, as long as I know that I will have the opportunity to start. I just want to be able to prove to everyone that I'm a very talented running back that can do just about anything. People who have seen me play in other leagues should know that I am a very capable running back that can really help out a team offensively on the field and be a strong leader as well.

Reporter: For people who aren't familiar with your style of play, why don't you describe yourself?

Dante: Well, I like to think of myself as a very balanced running back that has the capabilities to do anything that I want on the field. I'm a generally strong running back that can bust through some tackles, whether they are high or low tackles. My size is pretty solidly built, 6-3, 249 pounds, and that definitely works to my advantage out there on the field. For such a big guy, I think that I'm a quick runner too. I'm explosive out of the backfield and I've got decent acceleration. I like running the ball inside and dishing out some punishment on opposing defensive linemen and linebackers. For a running back, I'm a pretty good catcher as well. I can be a second or third option on any team if I'm required to be.

Reporter: After describing yourself like that, do you believe you will be a first round pick?

Dante: Well hopefully I will be. I think that I definitely can be, but only if I continue to work hard and give my best effort all the time. If I should fall short of that, then I don't think that I would be worthy of a first round pick. I do hope that I will be a first rounder, as it would definitely boost my confidence and self esteem. Being taken in the first round of a draft is a big honor, and it also raises the expecation level of you. It makes you feel as if you are expected to be able to perform to the best of your ability all the time. And I do like that kind of pressure. It really gives me a lot of motivation and helps me out a lot.

Reporter: Well that's all we have today, thanks for joining us.

Dante: No problem.
