Commuting

To travel to far and distant lands,
to journey beyond my Home,
I seek the comfort found by few
when the road is winding and long;
let the sun makes its way across the sky,
and the wind leave just cirrus-tracks,
I shall slumber in peacefulness as my due
as the envoy of pedigree cats.
