Overnight, they expected us to get another 8-12" of snow. I finally got out of bed at 2:30pm or so and went outside as soon as I could to see what was going on. When I walked out the door, the site was incredible. Not only did we get socked with snow overnight, but nearly every family on Markee Terrace was outside helping each other clean the snow out. Our neighbor's daughter was married to a guy with a plow and he said if we got all the cars off the road, he would plow off the block. Don't want to pass that up, so we all got to work. I also made some attempts to clean off my car as you'll see later on. I eventually did get it out. Mike's and Chris' cars are still under several FEET of snow and our shovel is now broken! Ok, on to the pictures:

Before stepping outside, I did some looking around at the current situation of snow. Here you can see what the snow did to our back deck:

Then I went outside. This is basically what I saw when I stepped outside. This is after a lot of progress though. I didn't feel right taking a picture while everyone else worked their butts off.

Robets Road (the road at the end of Markee Terrace) wasn't much better than ours. I walked to the end of the block and this is what I saw. The first picture is towards Lancaster. The next is the tunnel showing the cars they moved off the block onto Roberts Road so the plow you see in the third picture could get to work.

After playing around on Markee Terrace for a bit, I decided to try to find my car. This is what I found:

Looks good, eh? I decided to at least move some snow off it in case the plow decided to come through. Didn't want him thinking my car was a big pile of snow. I think these pictures also reveal the magnitude of the snowfall. Using my arm, I estimate the total at 22", but that was just from my car.

After seeing this, I gave up and went home. Later that night, I decided to head back over with Chris and try to dig my car out. Here you see the two pictures I shot just before we tried to get the car out. I had to do some more cleaning up as it inched its way out, but we eventually made it!
