Step 6 - Inserting a Background Image |
|
Background images are used to enhance the appearance and aid in the formatting of web pages. Background images may be a solid fill color, gradient file, textured fill, a single image or photograph, or tiled images. Special “margin” image files may also be used to provide a colored margin on the left or right side of your web page. Care should be used in selecting background images as that can detract from the readability and appearance of your web page. Generally bright colors and highly patterned images should be avoided where readability is a significant issue. |

To insert a background image from a file go to the menu bar and:

Clicking on the Picture TAB will display a file dialog window where you can preview and select your background image. Click the Select Picture button and choose your background file. |
