Lesson
One:
Objective:
1.
To get students organized and familiar with using the school computer
network in retrieving daily and weekly material to be used in this unit and
other course units.
2.
Introduce students to the concepts of software, hardware and how the two
interact.
Activity One
10 minutes
·
Show students the location of the TIK-20R folder
located on the student drive of the network.

Explain the organization of the folder to the
students. The folder contains the
following:
·
Required readings to be completed and reviewed daily
·
Questions to be answered daily
·
Terminology to be completed daily
Activity Two 40 minutes
·
Using a Socratic style of teaching, a lesson will be
delivered to the students on hardware, software and their integration with each
other.
