There is nothing quite like having your family present present at your retirement party.
Jerry and Ellie, the couple whose engagement party was used as an alias for John's surprise retirement party. Ellie (Elishka) is the computer expert who is responsible for setting up this site.:)

John's sister Judy had a lot of fun hanging out with relatives. Judy flew in from Chagrin Falls, Ohio. She and Henni conspired together in keeping John "in the dark" about the event. She also collected "Words of Wisdom" from friends all over the country and placed them in a beautiful profesionally layed out memory book. What a fantastic job she did in assisting Henni not only with John's retirement party but also Elishka's engagement party the following day! It was so nice to have her stay with the family for a week. She is the kind of sister that every man should have.=)
John's nephew Lane (Judy's son) flew out from Arizona to celebrate with John. Lane is a tremendously busy business man whose responsibilities require travel all over the United States. He had to set aside some important obligations to be at his uncle's retirement party. "Unk" John always feels very special when Lane calls or visits.
