Tree with flowers outside of Yeats' Tower

I thought that the way the flowers were around this little tree was really quite pretty, I think that I forgot that I had B & W film in the camera, but it's still a decent pic.
Sam and Dennis

This older gentleman invited us into his quaint home and it really was a wonderful experience. Sam is sitting on his lap while Dennis sings her a song.
Yeats Tower

Yeats Tower from the outside forest. Captivating.
River outside Yeats' Tower

This is the little river outside of Yeats' Tower, could you imagine being a little kids with woods and a river outside like this?
Victorian House?

We took a tour in this really cool old house. Neat huh? Look at all the chimneys!
River outside Yeats Tower again

Another part of the river through the foliage. I just loved the little river. I wish that I could live somewhere like that.
Magical Forest

Absolutly amazing forest. The ground was covered in shed leaves and ivy. The ambiance of this forest was truly captivating. Felt like I was in a different world.
Stone Wall

Looking down a stone wall, I loved the sheer beauty of the lichen on the stones and the repeating pattern.
Lonely Irish Road

This quaint Irish road in the country was just one example of the small roads that criss-cross the countryside. I fell in love quickly.
Jen, Heather, & Lesley in Killarney Cottage

The three girls that I stayed with in Killarney, our last stop on our way out of Ireland. They were great companions.

Looking down onto the wonderful fields that cover the landscape of Ireland.
Idol on a stone wall

A little Mary idol with a small cluster of flowers on a lonely stone wall. This just caught my attention in the middle of nowhere.
Grown over house

This was a common site in the Irish countryside. There were many abandoned stone houses grown over by creeping plants.
Graveyard on the West Coast

Small, little graveyard in the South West of Ireland. Wonderful how many are put next to each other. New next to old, I just thought it was amazing.
Flowers

Beautiful flowers outside of a cave. These flowers grew right out of the rocks.
Elder Tree

This tree had to be hundreds of years old. It was amazing. I like how the people in the bottom right show you the scale.
Dead Tree in Garden

This twisted tree trunk was laying in the middle of this beautiful garden. The starkness of this dead tree in the middle of so much life was beautiful.
Corcomroe Abbey Wall

One of the remaining walls in this old Abbey. Though the roofs were long gone, the walls stood stong.
Corcomroe Abbey Gravestones

These gravestones were laid side-by-side on the ground inside the Abbey. It hought that it was really amazing the way that the Irish take advantage of every inch of space.
Looking through an abbey doorway

This doorway was too small for an average sized human to fit through, but it was there. I was curious as to what it was intended for.
Corcomroe Abbey from a distance

That's the Abbey in the backround. In front is yet again another over grown house. I liked the way that they lined up
Caves in Ireland

Inside these beautiful caves. I don't know what the little swirlies are, but it's still a cool pic.
More Irish caves

Here is another picture of the same caves. I really liked the neat formations.
Candle Holders

These were these awesome little candle holders that the older man in a previous picture made. They are beautiful.
Broken Gravestone

This gravestone was broken and it looked like someone attempted to put it back together. Can you imagine the time that it took to put this back together like that.
Baby Gravestone

There seemed to be too many of these kind of gravestones. Someone had planted some wonderful colorful flowers around this gravestone. So sad.
Sunset over the bay

Beautiful sunset over the bay outside of these cabins we stayed in in Ballyvaughn.
Ballyvaughn cottages

These are the cottages we stayed in. They are very quaint.
