I sit and watch you there,
So sad so afraid and feeling alone,
I worry and feel your pain,
I suffer with you…
But there is nothing I can do to help you,
I try to comfort you but nothing goes through,
Your just there numb to the world…
I feel so sad when I see you like that,
I worry—and I feel so empty inside…
Knowing that there is little I can do to help…
But I try anyways…
There is so much sadness in your eyes…
Why can’t I make it go away?
I love you and you love me… Isn’t that enough?
But I know it is only a phase and soon it will pass away,
But still it pains me so to see you like that.
I wish it didn’t have to be but it happens anyway…
Why can’t we just be happy all the time?
