Genma is a good martial artist but he rarely shows this because of his laziness. He is a very insensitive person. He took Ranma away from his mother, Nadoka at a young age so that he could start training. He is responsible for most of Ranma’s engagements which are usually in exchange for food. Genma is also responsible for bringing Ranma to the Jusenkyo springs and getting them both cursed. He now turns into a panda when splashed with cold water. While in his panda form, he uses signs to communicate. Genma is mostly seen in the Tendou Dojo playing or eating. He and Soun were both trained under Happosai (whom he is afraid of) and they have been friends ever since. | |
