I My Me! Strawberry Eggs is about a young man yearning to be a Kyoshi (teacher). Recently after moving into a new apartment he needs a job and fast. Hibiki Amawa decides to get a job as a Kyoshi as the nearest school, which happens to only hire female for staff. Enraged by this Hibiki seeks the help of his land lady who offers to help him get a job at that school, but the only way he can do this is by cross-dressing as a female Gym Kyoshi.

Everything goes smoothly and according to plan until the day he...um...SHE meets Kuzuha. Kuzuha is a young student who is clumsy and needs extra attention, but what Hibiki doesn't realize is that by giving this girl extra help he begins to fall in love with her. Kuzuha also begins to develop feelings for this younger teacher, which she thinks is a girl! What will happen to these two? Will Hibiki's secret get out about her really being a man and destroy her courier? This fresh story will take a few episodes to get used to, but once you have accepted the situation you will realize that it is a well developed and heart breaking story of young forbidden love. I really wish the series was a bit longer, but at 4 DVDs long I was very satisfied with the story progression and character development. I My Me! Strawberry Eggs is a must see for any high school drama fan.
