REPPORT FROM SCANDINAVIAN LIVE 2003-02-01/02
For the first time i did not have to travel far to go to
an live show. Normally my home in Copenhagen is not the most central, since
i have not been going outside the country yet. Just one hour by train and
i was there
Sanne was waiting when i arrived at the trainstation and we went to town with
her mum for food shopping for the weekend, and we sure did not miss anything,
we got more then plenty. It turned out that Sanne was really good at coooking,
and that was just great *s*
When we got home Sannes parents took off and we had the intire hour to ourselves.
To bad i was the one one who showed up at the show in person , every one else
had sent their models to be proxy shown, and there was a lot of models that
was already sold on that was shown by the new owners name at the show. We
worked really hard all Saturday, and we managed to get all the classes judged,
it was so close in the classes we could hardly decide what to place first
second and trhird.
Ir was so exiting we didnt stop juding the classes untill we was actually
done. There was hte most amazing prize table with lots of wonderful rosettes,
plates and trophies, i had also broughr along some prizes, just for the case..
I Have to admit i have lot to learn before i can “fight” Sanne’s
work, but it was worth an shot, and it was fun ? The most memorable event
at the show was my little Shleish shetlandspony who managed to become CM pony
champion, i did not think that was possible. Another one was my Stone Painted
Test PS Nimbus TB OF-Don Juan that was beated my a muzzlehair by another Stones
TB Narazeth – that was shown under the name Teddy Designer, and was
Reserve BIS in the OF Show. Not to forget my Frederiksbergs Andersmy Othello
rep who was CM Drafter champion.
Sanne had a lot of goodies, one that really stood out was Nocturno resin from
Kitty Cantrll painted an starshaped dapple rose grey by Sanne, an wonderful
model that also took home the CM BIS.
The very charming guy Gandalf, an Caprice I resin was also among my favourites,
and he took lot of winnings in performance and was CM Res BIS. We had an special
award called ”Best Artist Award” for the best painted model, and
that went to a gorgeous dappled bay TAS Majestuso called Brego, again one
of the models that Sanne had painted. We also had an prize for best amateur
painted wich went to my formerly metioned Schleish shetlandI am the president
in SMAAR(Angloarabregistryand i awarded an prize to Champion Fullblodsras,
and that was won by an Arab stallion called Palma Real (Unfortunately he is
on his way to USA, so i hurried and put in a spot for an breeding before he
is off). We had to find 2 favourites, and my choise went to an lovely Paint
- Double Chex wich was an wonderfully painted Slide Ruler(Jennifer Reid),and
Sanne picked nothing less then my own Anders. Another model that we thought
was vrey pretty was Therese Wolmers El Muerte, an SM Andalusier rr by Therese
that ended in a class with Traditionel resins, the comeptition was very tough.
There was many more gorgrous models, just check the results - *seigh*...
EMHSCA – European Model Horse Collectors & Showers Assosiation is
an new club that have been founded to help promote the hobby in Europe, this
was the first show that was associated with EMHCSA, you can read more about
EMHCSA below. Models that placed first and second got an certificate that
can be applied towards teh championship show, planned in about an years time.
I have learned a lot, and i say that every time i have been to an live show.
Inspireing and useful. Painting tecnique, seen a lot of new models.. and so
on
Sunday started with us going out to look at an riding school that is well
knows for their handicap riding, very intresting. When we got home Sanne did
the last paperwork and i wrote this. As i write this i have nothing more to
add.

EMHCSA – European Model Model Horse Collectors & Showers Association
EMHSCA was founded in December 2002, an was founded to promote
the modelhorse hobby in Europe and abroad.

This is the best place for information untill the website is completed.
It shall be noticed that even though an show is a NAMSHA qualifyer, it can
be a EMHCSA qualifyer at the same time.
The club is a non-profit, that mean there is no fee’s for having the
show entered as an EMHCSA show, but the EMHCSA founded rules must be followed.
If the EMHCSA rules is not followed, the show will be disqualified and the
right to advertise itself as an EMHCSA show will be withdrawn.
If you do not have access to the Internat you can send an SAE + 1 IRC (International
Reply Cupon, That can be purchased at the postoffice – Do not send cash!),
Then you will receive an printed version of the EMHCSA information and rules.
