Welcome to my Comet site. I purchased this 1963 Mercury Comet Custom Convertible in August 2000. The original 170 cubic inch engine was replaced with a 250 six from a 69 Falcon and the original 2 speed transmission was swapped out for a C4 three speed. In 2005 I rebuilt the engine and transmission and upgraded to front disc brakes in 2007.   Check out the modifications and upgrades on the links above
