**Welcome to My Anthropos Journal**
December 1, 2002 Today we figured out how to use caitie's editing software, and how to hook up the digital video camera to the computer. We practiced various editing techniques using some of my famly movies from this summer. This practicing has given us more confidence in the project and in ourselves. We are excited to get started on our project, we have started to contact some of the people we are going to interview. Kevin Fields gave us a Key Club brochure. We have read through it and are enthralled that so many people are willing to give up their time to help those in need. People are following in the footsteps of Jesus. It makes us excited to talk to some of these people and spread the love of service. It triggers my memory to the times when i have done service. December 10, 2002 We have compiled a complete list of the people that we plan to interview, and the order in which they will appear in the documentary. This organization demonstrates the way we need to plan in our everyday lives, and the necessity for order amid our chaotic school lives, especially in the IB program. The organized list will also help us to purchase the right number of tapes, and the dates when we will film December 13, 2002 Today i stopped by the the CVS drugstore, and picked up some digital video tapes. I bought two tapes, we might need more tapes later, but for now two tapes should do. Our country's economy is based on purchases such as these. If people didn't spend money at stores they would go out of business, and eventually our economy will drop. December 17, 2002 We have been experimenting with the digital video cameras, different camera angles, and settings. We have also tried different opening sequences. This learning empirically reminds us of how we learned when we were younger, and still learn today. It is also important to learn empirically in sciences. I feel that when we learn something by trial and error, or expirimentation, we tend to remember it better than if we learned it from a book. December 30, 2002 Brainstorming ideads for storyboards and shots, helped to develope a clearer picture of what our finished product will be like. Clarity is hard to come by in life, but can help to boost confidence in what one is seeking. January 1, 2003 Today we compiled and edited our Web Page journals. We needed to convert what we wrote in our journal to the Web page, this is similar to the conversions of the oral Stories to the actual text of the old testament of theBible. There were some changes in the actual wording, but now our journal is accesible to all.
