Community Health Councils (CHCs) were created in
1974 and have represented the interests of their local communities
in the NHS ever since then.
Bassetlaw CHC has 18 voluntary lay members and a
small staff team. It is based in Worksop and covers the Bassetlaw
District of North Nottinghamshire
