My Fancy
Trevor, he is my Fancy. You may be asking yourself what the heck a "Fancy" exactly is. Well, it is the pet name we have for each other. When we first became engaged, we called each other "Fiance." Well, over a month or two "Fiance" evolved into "Fancy" and that is what we have been calling each other ever since.
Trevor and I have been together since April of 2006, engaged since September 2006. I will never forget the first time I saw him. He was a friend of our family and we were both attending my aunt's birthday party. When I walked in the door, it wasn't 10 seconds later that our eyes met. My heart began to flutter and my stomach jumped up into my throat. The first thing that ran through my mind was, "Oh-my-God! He's HOT!" Then I promptly diverted my eyes and decided to play it cool. As I mingled with family, I kept my eye on him, waiting for an opportunity to say hello. Finally, when he was talking to my cousin, I snuck over and took the opportunity to introduce myself. And yes, he was just as adorable up close as he was from afar! The rest of the night we were inseperable. We completely hit it off. We talked, we danced, it was awesome. Then toward the end of the night, we decided to take a walk. We came upon a playground where we ran around for a while. Then for some reason we both looked up a the sky just in time to see this beautiful shooting star. It sounds super corny but its totally true, I am dead serious. Then he turned and kissed me, it was the most romantic thing EVER! Now, the rest is history!
I really feel like one of the luckiest people in the world. Trevor is unbelievably good to me. He is so hard working. Infact, he has worked insane amounts of hours to help me through nursing school. He is very sweet, affectionate and sometimes I can't believe it but he truly loves me for who I am. He is thoughtful, generous and patient. He makes me laugh and would do just about anything to make me happy. He is my rock. When I am freaking out, upset or way emotional, he is there for me and brings me back to center again. I love this man soooooo much! After all, he's Trevor. He's my Fancy!
