My page is basically about the car that I had, a '99 Honda Prelude Sport Shift, and my present car, a 2002 Ford Fiesta Zetec. In the page, you could find the basic modifications that both cars have had, some cool pics, as well as links to other great pages. My first car was a 1999 Honda Prelude Sport Shift, which I purchased in Late August of 1999. The car was great, nothing to complain about... Awesome power, great handling, looks, and upgrade potential and VTEC...All the way to 8100 RPM!!! The Prelude had a Speedmaster Intake System, custom Speedmaster/Tsudo 2.75" exhaust, AEM Tru-Power Pulleys, and Magnecore Spark Plug Wires. Suspension mods included Speedmaster Strut Tower Bars in front and in the rear, and coil-over sleeves on the stock shocks to lower the car a total of 2" which later was lowered more for a total of 3.25". I give special thanks to my big brother Luis Perez, owner of Speedmaster of Miami, Inc. for helping me out with the custom stuff, and with all the work. If you guys need any help on the power department, talk to Luis Perez, now working with Dynamic Turbo, in Miami, Fl. After I moved to Venezuela in 2000, I UNFORTUNATELY had to sell the Prelude and bought a 2002 Ford Fiesta Zetec, and have slowly modified it to fill the gap the Prelude left, but it still needs some work... At the moment, the car has a custom ram air intake with AEM Bypass Valve (pics coming soon), full 2.25" exhaust with Speedmaster muffler, 17" Volk Racing Challenge Wheels on 205/40ZR 17 Dunlop SP Sport 9000 tires. The car isn't a screamer, but its fun to drive. Currently the car is running 15.70 @ 86 mph in the 1/4 mile, on stock tires... Not bad for a 2350 lb. 4 door huh? My next car will be a 1998 Honda Civic 4-door... Primarily for sleeper purposes :) I'm planning to go with a turbo kit made by my friends and my brother at Dynamic Turbo on the single cam motor, headwork, a mild cam, an AEM EMS (Engine Management System), fuel system, suspension work including coilover suspension, and more...All with my brother's expertise and tuning capabilities, we should get at the 300 to 350 HP range.Just waiting on the funds as soon as I sell the Fiesta :) This is a pic of the Prelude's engine bay: This one of the nicest and cleanest bugs you'll find in Miami... This 1974 VW Beetle belongs to a good friend of mine, Juan Saluzzio, which has been working on this car since high school... His modifications include forged Mahle pistons and cylinders 85.5 mm, DMS forged and counterweighted 69 mm crank,Engle 110 (286 degrees) camshaft,CB performance heads 044's with manley stainless steel valves (40 mm intake, 35.5 exhaust, single springs with chromoly retainers), Melling 36mm oil pump, chromoly pushrods, connecting rods balanced with ARP bolts, dual 44mm weber carburetors with 36 mm venturi's. It's got about 130hp @ 6500rpm out of 1584 cc.(1.6 liters) Not bad for a bug... don't mess with it!! --COMING SOON-- Mitsubishi turbo with about 8 psi boost. Expected HP about 180-200 hp!!! Get ready... This is Edgar Vincens' 1996 Eclipse GS-T. This car was built and tuned by my brother, Luis Perez while at Speedmaster of Miami, Inc. The car featured custom Ketcham Engineering header (thanks Todd Ketcham!), Garrett T04E 58-1 Turbo, custom Speedmaster 3" downpipe, HKS blow off valve, Turbonetics RACEgate wastegate, GReddy exhaust, HKS EVC boost controller, HKS VPC (Vein Pressure Controller), Upgrade fuel pump, RC Engineering 650cc. injectors, Remapped ECU by Toyomoto Miami, Spearco front mount intercooler with custom piping, then swapped to a GReddy front mount intercooler, Broward Race clutch, 3000GT brakes including crossdilled rotors and calipers (front) Greddy oil pressure gauge, VDO boost gauge, and lots more!! The car ran 18-25psi of boost, creating about 350 to 400 horsepower. On the suspension side, the car had stock shocks mated with Eibach lowering springs, and 17" MAHDI Ceasar Wheels on Toyo Rubber. This Red 1992 Eclipse belongs to whom I believe is the king of horsepower, my brother, Luis. This one had it all... Rally spec 4G63BT engine, JE 8.5:1 pistons, shot peened and micro polished rally-spec rods, knife edged crank, balanced and blueprinted, improved oil pump gears, removed balance shafts, extrude-honed intake manifold, 800cc. RC injectors, fuel pump, Oversized intake and exhaust valves, 272 degree cams, AEM adjustable cam sprockets, custom intercooler and piping, GReddy blow off valve, TRE MASC engine management system piggybacked to the remapped ECU, Broward Clutch race clutch,Turbonetics RACEgate wastegate, custom Ketcham Engineering Header, Garrett 62-1 monster turbo, custom 3" downpipe and 3" full exhaust, air conditioning system removed, direct port NOS nitrous system 125hp shot, all Greddy diagnostic gauges (oil pressure, boost, fuel...etc.), MSD ignition with 11.5 mm spark plug cables, MOMO steering wheel, custom WELD RACING 16" wheels (only 10lbs. each!!) with FALKEN ZIEX rubber mated to 3000GT brake rotors and calipers, later upgraded further to crossdrilled rotors, koni adjustable shocks and H&R lowering springs. This car should make about 680 to 720 horsepower. This is my Prelude next to my brother's Eclipse. NOTE the HUGE front mount intercooler on the eclipse... it hangs under the front bumper!!!! This is Alex Alfonso's 1999 Acura 2.2 CL, he no longer has this car but its still nice to have it here. It had a Speedmaster Intake System similar to the one on my Prelude, Tanabe exhaust, APEX'i N1 adjustable suspension without pillowballs, and 18" RACING HART TYPE-C wheels. This was my brother Luis' "family car" until it was stolen a couple of months ago. :( This car was really nice, a 1994 Honda Accord LX non-VTEC with the 2.3l F23 engine, a Jacobs Ignition system, advanced timing, Speedmaster FAT BOY intake, 8.5mm race wires, custom Speedmaster/TSUDO exhaust system, GReddy front lip spoiler, APEX'i N1 adjustable suspension, and 17" CEC wheels color matched to the car, FALKEN tires, and stock look rear spoiler. This Accord outhandled my Prelude by a longshot!!! This is a shot from a hotel room in West Palm Beach the morning before heading to MOROSO MOTORSPORTS PARK. FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: is Alex's Acura CL, The Speedmaster of Miami, Inc. Company Truck, Luis' Eclipse on the trailer with some huge slicks, and my Prelude a week after I bought it. This is a pic of my 2002 Ford Fiesta ZETEC. As I had said earlier in the text, it has some basic mods such as the Speedmaster RAM AIR intake, taking air in from behind the lower front bumper, Ford Mondeo injectors, a Mitsubishi 3000GT fuel pump, full exhaust, and 17" wheels, which actually slowed the car down. On the stock 175/70R13 GOODYEAR tires, the car ran a most impressive 15.70 @ 86 mph, and with the HUGE 205/40ZR17 Dunlop SP9000's the car ran a 16.3 at 85 mph. The mph stayed high because of the change in gear ratio to a taller one due to the larger diameter tires. As soon as I drop it, I'll get some more pictures in the site. I haven't dropped it because it's a hassle, I had to cut part of the inside of all the wheel wells so the tires won't rub. Also, I'll get some pics in of the massive sound system that's going in... two 12" subs with a bad ass amp and nice two-ways up front to complement the 260watt 6"x9" four way Pioneer speakers that are in the rear trunk shelf of the car. ************UPDATE Oct. 3, 2002*********** The sound system is in!!! Two Pioneer 12" 600watt with Dual Voice Coils, and a 600 watt 2 channel amp to move the subs... I also got a new custom made front bumper out of fiberglass. I got these both in Maracaibo, a city in Venezuela which is known for its high petroleum movement, and is still a very rich city. Many tuned cars can be seen there... I got the bumper as a birthday present, it cost like US$100!! As soon as I get it painted, the pics will be on the page. This is a Orlando Rondon's 2002 Fiesta ZETEC, he is son of a friend of the family's and I've known him since I was a kid. He's got some of my custom work on the car. He's got a custom Speedmaster cold air intake, and a Speedmaster strut brace. He's got a wire loom dress-up kit, power window kit, SONY XPLOD radio reciever, a two-way speaker kit with filter up front, 4 260watt Pioneer three ways, two amps, and a Pioneer 12" dual voice coil subwoofer. He has recently installed a front lip spoiler with splitters, a Speedmaster 2" exhaust, and 15" Binno wheels with TOYO 195/50 15 rubber.
