Peterlee Parachute Centre

Peterlee Parachute Center is located in the small village of Shotton Coliery, just near peterlee. The drop zone is owned and operated by Ian Rosenvinge and his staff of about 15 instructors and support staff.

The reception

The reception is the base of operations for the Drop Zone. Signing in is done here.

The Flightline

Here is where you will get your gear and take your final briefings and gear checks. From here you will walk to the aircraft for your jump.

Canteen

The heated canteen contains a TV, coffee machine, drinks and sweet machine and seating. Hot food is provided at the DZ by "Snack Attack" at very reasonable prices. If they are not on the DZ then they will deliver free of charge to the DZ.

The Aircraft

This is the aircraft used at the DZ and most DZ's. It is a sturdy aircraft that carries 3 students and an instructor.
