Greetings and welcome onlookers to the thrill paces world of what was once called Cliffhangers and Serials! In the early days of film, back in the 30's 40's and early 50's, kids would flock to the theater and pay a few cents to sit for hours at the daring doings of their favorite heroes like Dick Tracy, Sunset Carson and Flash Gordon. Each episode ran for no more than a half hour and always left kids wanting to come back.

How did they get kids to come back week after week? By leaving the audience on their seat. The films would end with what would seem certain doom for the hero or their side-kicks. Wrapped up in rope, the hero moves closer and closer to the spinning blade of a log splitter. The gang are trapped in a room that is closing in on them. The side-kick tied good and tight is placed on a boat that is loaded with explosives. The cowboy hero is left hanging from a cliff as the rope frays away.

This was what the kids and their folks want to come back. Just to see if for once, the hero did not make it out in time. As always they did. The caught up with their nemesis and justice revailed. Next week would start a new story and your guarrenteed for more thrills to come. MORE CLIFFHANGERS! As the world began to know them as. Times changed and the serial was lost in time. Cliff hangers are still about on modern TV and movies. But now, all is solved in a 2 hour flick. Sometimes the hero escapes and sometimes not. But the thrill is gone. So are the dashing names, the interest and the classic style.

It is the project of this website to bring that style back. And along with it, the adventure, cliffhanger action and suspense. New heroes and villians, titles and adventures wait about each bend here. Private eyes in nice suits and fedoras getting roped up, cowboys in their flashy gear in certain peril, jungle terror as adventurer stalk the dark forest, fist fight fun and most certain doom.

Among the project to be found , beside our own adventures are reviews of heroes and peril seens in the past. From Ralph Byrd, to Buster Crabbe and David Sharpe and all those men of daring in the middle. We also hope to have a list of old cliffhanger serials and movies as well. But the main goal is to produce new adventures, both in color and in Black & White. In which, new forms of peril come out as well.

LAST UPDATE
MESSAGES
January, 2005
I have to apologize for the lack of posts lately. The site has had some technical problems and the onsluaght of the holiday season did not help. But with the meeting of new friends into the same subject and all, I have started to get past the troubles.

The group has taken a slight change in nature. Before it was just a gay man's snuff adventure site. but as you can see, the violence has toned down some. Two of the original stories are still up: The Lakota Kid and The Brothers Quinn. Both now taking a more cliffhanger track. Both still in syndicate. The next big project is a detective story in the tradition of Red Barry and Dick Tracy. Stay tuned here for details.

Lastly I just wanted to say that if you have any comments or questions, feel free to use the guest book or email me. Thats what they are there for.

Later days.....

Jess
