Tales from the Cript (1972)
A fun little British anthology film based on the popular E.C. comic book. Five tales, told by the hooded Cryptkeeper (Sir Ralph Richardson), reveal the fates of a group of unlikable people. The strongest stories are the first (Joan Collins vs. a homicidal Santa Claus), the third (Peter Cushing returns to haunt the man who drove him to suicide), and the last (residents of a blind asylum get revenge against a cruel and hypocritical superintendant). The second and fourth are forgettable, and not a lot of fun, either. Recommended to fans of the better Creepshow.
