-His first concert was Iron Maden and The Scorpions when he was 12.
-While walking home from school when he was 13 he got shot in the left leg with a B-B gun. -Supposidly still there to this day.-
-As a teenage he sang in a band that messed up his vocals and he had to have laser surgery on his throat when he was 16. -Thats why his voice is so deep now.-
-Before Orgy he played Bass guitar for 4 years and he can play a keyboard aswell.
-Used to be in 2 bands when he was younger. Deadsy -which is an up and comming band.- and LIT -dont get confused with the current band out now. but Jay did sell the name 'LIT' to them-
