Ryan Whitaker Smith was born on Septemeber 3, 1983 to Michael W. and Debbie Smith.

This is the first of there 5 children. Ryan was born 2 days before Michael and Debbie' celebrated there 2nd wedding anniversary. Ryan was a cutie when he was younger, and you will be able to tell in some of the pictures that will be here. The pictures below are of Ryan from the Ages of 2 up 9 years old. These are some cute pictures.

Ryan Smith at age 9

Ryan turned 9 on September 3, 1992. He is a big boy and growing up so fast he will be in 3rd grade this fall. In summer of 92' Ryan spent 2 weeks at Kamp Kanakuk in Missouri. His favorite thing to do was tubing on the giant lake at the kamp. He had a blast And Picasso- he is. He is amazing at the age with a pencil(or anything else that draws)and a sketch pad! His lastest hobby is collecting baseball, basketball and about any other type of trading cards. And like his daddy, he's getting into seeing "flicks"-his favorite movie of the summer was 3 ninjas-he tought "IT WAS A RIOT". Ryan can't wait to get back to school to see all of his friends. Ryan has lot's of friends even back then. And more to come as he grows up.

In 1993 Ryan turned 10 years old, which he entered the fourth grade, boy is he moving up in years, boy how they grow up so fast. Ryan was into swimming, sketching, and comic book collecting, are just a few things that were keeping Ryan busy. He also went back that next year for week to Kamp Kanakuk, and had a blast. Ryan also loved the trip that year to Colorado with his parents and other brother and sisters, and fell in love with rollerblading- he didn't fall much, but he does thoroughly enjoy the sport. Ryan will be ready to go back to school to use his creativity in his favorite class ART! He is into free sketch and drawing more. Ryan favorite movie this year was two this time which are "Jurassic Park" and "The Last Action Hero". His favorite Song/Group- Bon Jovi-"In These Arms". Ryan's highlight of this year was going on tour with his dad a few times. He especially liked the dressing room because of the great food!

Also in the Windter of of 1993 Ryan enjoyed the love he gave his baby sister Emily.

It was the school year in 1994 and Ryan just entered 5th grade(look out junior high), and also just turned 11 years old. He had a great birthday party and recieved some awesome gifts. The most incredible gift was being a golden lab puppy named Milo. Milo is the newest addition to the Smith Zoo, and Ryan takes great strides to ensure his maintenence and well-being. This new addition adds to Ryan's responsibilities with the other circus members(for those keeping track)- Tazzy(the carefree kitty), Maggie and Lady(the canine cohorts), and Rocky(the brown Stallion). In addition to the usual homework load of a fifth-grader, Ryan keeps busy collecting everything, sketching everything, drawing everything, and keeping every creative juice flowing! Ryan has recently begun to show an interest in the movies-specifically directing/producing- and he uses his dad's video camera to capture those Kodak moments.

Here are some more pictures of Ryan growing up into a very handsome young man. Unforunately just like his dad has. These next pictures of Ryan from the age 11 to 14.

In 1998 Ryan turned 15 years old Ryan went to Kamp Kanakuk for two weeks and whitney went for a week and they both had a lot of fun. Also in 1998 was Ryan's Wonder Years Ryan states:"Recently I've been hanging out just writing. I love to write. I'm working on a number of screenplays. I find it easy to start something but hard to finish. You could learn that from looking at the screenplays. They only have a few pages each. I also write songs and I'm in a band(Seeking Canvass) that is slowly evolving into something. I'm not sure yet. Writing is a great escape for me. I love it. I want to be a writer/director, so I also love movies. Some of my favorite movies are "Braveheart", "Titanic", "While You Were Sleeping", "The Hudsucker Proxy", and "Quiz Show". Recently I went to Ecuador with my dad. It was real eye opener. I didn't realize how much I had until I saw how they lived in such poverty. That experience made me so thankful for what I have. I really enjoy reading. It's something I love to do. My favorite book is "Wisdom Hunter" by Randall Arthur. I also like "The Firm" by John Grisham. I am working on a novel. It's about a drug scandel in the government It's called "The Government"(sounds prety stupid right after hearing it, huh?). I guess that's all that's going on with me right now. And final note, Algebra is pointless." By Ryan Smith. In the 1998 News Letter of MBF.

Also in 1998 the last month of School, Ryan and his band "Seeking Canvass" entered the middle school talent competition. There were 15 acts in all and Ryan's Band "Seeking Canvass" won as they played 2 original works including "Separare" and "Beaches".
