Khmer Language

According to many researches, Khmer Language is a part of the Mon-Khmer family and seems to appear with many of its characters and words derived from Sanskrit (3rd century) and Pali (15th century). Indeed, it is a very monosyllabic language. The word is invariable and there are no any very precise grammatical categories:  no conjugation to keep, no gender, no plural number, no article.

To speak and understand this beautiful language, it is necessary to know a big number of words to be able to use them in the suitable situation.  And don't forget either that its pronunciation is little bite complicated.

The Khmer language uses a very elegant writing but possesses a very complex alphabet, which is composed of 33 consonants and their subscript, 23 vowels, 12 independent vowels and several accents.
