THE DDR TRICKS

- BACKWARDSING: I think i made a new word, but you get the idea. Basically you perform the song or a portion of it backwards without looking at the screen. And yes, you do need to memorize the notes of the song in order to pull it off. It doesn't look cool to not look at the screen and miss every note.
- BAR JUMPING: You go off the platform at a pause in the notes and jump over the saftey bar right in time for the next note.
- CIRCLES: This is where you go in a circle while hitting the notes in time EXAMPLE- up, right, down, left. If you have skills you can do it even when its not in sequential order.
- KNEE DROP: This is where you use your knee to hit one of the platforms. Just don't do it too hard or else it hurts a lot.
- HAND PLANT: This is where you use your hand instead of your foot to hit a platform. Again, do it too hard and it will hurt.
- MATRIX WALK: This is where you hold onto the saftey bar with one hand and bring your feet up and run/walk on the ddr screen. But if you don't know how to do it, do try cause a ddr machine costs $10,000-which you'll have to pay if you break the machine.
- LEFT FOOT ONLY: A style of playing where the player only uses his left foot to hit all the steps.
- SIGHT READ PLAYING: A song without having seen/played/heard the song or the steps beforehand.
