I am sick of people comparing Layne Staley’s death the Kurt Cobain’s. There are so many retards out there that say that they are a lot alike and have to compare them. Lets see what did they had in common.....they were singers in a rock band.....they're dead. I think that's about it. That is almost as good as when they say that people only like them cause they are dead. Its like the music wouldn't be still playing on the radios if it wasn't good. Sometimes I wonder where people come up with this shit. Its like I highly doubt Kurt was like “If I kill myself people will like me more and everyone will listen to me”. I am sure that was his goal. I mean why don't people say that shit about Hendrix? He died and his music is still played. At my last school D.C.E someone wrote into the school paper about how Nirvana was never really that good and like people only like them cause its “cool”. This one part really pissed me off though. It says “I asked students if they like nirvana, 80%aid yes but 70%of them couldn't tell me their favorite song”. Ok........ since when the fuck was it about the names of the songs? Most musicians have the hardest time when it comes to naming a song. People like what they like. People don't listen to music they hate cause that would make them stupid. But then there are a lot of stupid people out there...
