Bearclaw Safari is owned and operated by Dan Hughes, a hunting family with over 30 years of expierence. Dan has guided and outfitted hunters and fishermen all over Texas, New Mexico and Colorado.

Dan has been guiding lion and bear hunts for over two decades and has had tremendous success catching his elusive quarry.

All of our hunting and fishing trips are horseback, thus enabling our clients the opportunities to observe some of the most rugged, yet beautiful, county found in the great Southwest.

We feel our clients deserve one guide per hunter opportunities so we do not put our hunters in groups. If the clients would like to schedule a trip with us consisting with several within the party, we can set this arrangement up to meet the clients wishes.
