Plenty of large airlines and several charter carriers serve passengers flying
into The Islands Of The Bahamas. Frequent flights are available to Nassau,
Freeport and The Out Islands. Although there are no direct flights from Europe
to The Islands Of The Bahamas, a quick stopover in Miami is easy and perfectly
viable.
- Airline Service to
Nassau/Paradise Island:
Flights originate from both airports in New York, as well as from Newark,
Philadelphia and Atlanta. Most are daily flights on major carriers.
- Airline Service to Bahama
Island:
Although nonstop flights from the U.S. direct to Grand Bahama Island are
somewhat limited, many connecting and charter flights are available via Nassau.
- Airline Service to the Out
Islands:
There are ten to fifteen flights per day from southern Florida to airports on
The Abaco Islands. Flights from Miami and Nassau depart daily for George Town on
The Exuma Islands. And both scheduled seaplane and regular charter service are
available for travel from Florida and from other islands, nonstop to The Bimini
Islands.
