It all started one evening when I took my friends Tonya and Allison over to Steves house. Tonya was at the time going out with Steve and needed a ride over to see him. We all got out of the car..Allison and I decided to stay for a little while.

Steve and this guy that I didn't know, were throwing a football back and forth out in the road in front of the house. Steve makes a comment to this guy, "Hey Zack, why don't you go out with her?" (Refering to Allison) Then "Zack" walks off shaking his head and Steve continuously tries to call him down to us but it doesn't work. It turns out Zack was having some girlfriend problems himself and wasn't in the mood for any of Steve's jokes. Little did I know, that this guy that Steve was trying to set up with my best friend would soon turn out to be the love of my life, my fiance, my Zacky... :)

Time passed and things progressed. Zack and I were still not going out. There were a lot of feelings between us for one another but neither of us knew the other was feeling like we were. He was a good friend...and tried his best to get me out of a bad relationship that I was in. Finally it worked and then an incident happened and I'm not going into details unless you HAVE to know about it and just HAVE to email me and ask me, then I'll be glad to tell you...just remember, you asked! (The cops WERE involved..)

Zack was grounded for a month after that incident...but we were able to start seeing one another once again at church when his mother invited me and Allison, and her at the time boyfriend, Matthew. I was so happy to see him. After almost a months worth of sneaking notes to him through Steve who went to school with him and him calling me when his mom would leave..our love had done nothing but grown for one another.

A couple of months later we were saved on the same night. A week or two later we were baptized together.

Finally...the guy that I felt I had known my whole life yet only knew in reality, a few months bought me an engagement ring and proposed to me. It wasn't quite as romantic as I had hoped, to be honest with you..but it was simple..yet so much love came out of so few words. No matter what...no matter how he could have said or done it, it was still the best day of my life.

Lots of things have happened between then and now but nothing that could even barely come close to tearing us apart. A love this strong is a love definately to always remember.
