Pyro's explode down from the ceiling and Across the Nation by the union underground hits (RAW theme). Thousands of fans pack the Air Canada Centre for the very first WWE RAW.
Jim Ross: Hello Everybody and Welcome to the very first WWE RAW! Twenty-Two Thousand, four hundred and three cheering fans are here tonight to see the crowning of the very first WWE Undisputed champion, in a buried alive match! Unbelievable!
All of the sudden, Violence Fetish hits, and Joe Bisaillon from the WWE Crew steps out onto the ramp. The crowd cheers. Joe Smiles, and jogs down to the ring, sliding in. He signals for a mic, and one is thrown to him.
Joe: Hello everyone, here in the beautiul city of TORONTO!
The crowd pops.
Joe: I bet why you're all wondering why I'm out here? Well, It seems that Jerry "the King" Lawler hasn't shown up tonight, so....
A ring attendant throws a headset into the ring.
Joe: I'm tonights announcer!
The crowd cheers, as Joe slides out of the ring, and walks over to the announcers table. He sits down and all of the sudden...
The sound of a Bubba Bomb is heard when Bubba storms through the curtains and toward the ring with acknowledgement from the crowd.
Lillian Garcia: This Match is for the WWE Hardcore Championship. Making his way to the ring, weighing in at 275lbs. From DudleyVille, BUBBA-RAY DUDLEY!
The crowd cheers as Bubba half circles the ring and enters by the far stairs leading into the ring. After entering, he grins at the announcer then at the crowd and impatiently awaits his opponents.
The lights go out. A gush of wind blows through as the music hits... " stand back theres a hurricane coming through"
LG: And his opponent, weighing in at 191lbs... THE HURRICANE!
The Hurricane walks out covering himself with his cape and weilding a chair... he runs down to the ring, and slides into the ring and spins around pulling off his cape... then the pyro goes off over the turnbuckles.
The Referee calls for the bell. The bell rings, and the hurricane starts things off quickly, by swinging the steel chair directly at Bubba's skull. Bubba ducks the chair, and jumps behind hurricane. Bubba grabs Hurricanes shoulder, and turns him around, punching the steel chair right into the face of Hurricane. Hurricane falls to the ground, and Bubba climbs out of the ring, and begins searching underneath the ring.
JR: This match is off to a great start!
Joe: Bubbas showing exactly what I'm looking for here in the WWE, great wreslting, and the ability to destroy his opponent using weapons! YEAH!
Bubba reaches under the ring, and begins throwing weapons into the ring. Trash Cans, Stop signs, a bunch of weapons. Bubba then slides into the ring, weilding one of the many trash cans. Hurricane has already gotten to his feet, and is just waiting for Bubba. Bubba rises to his feet, and Hurricane connects with a lethal Superkick, with dead accuracy. Bubba falls on his back, but gets right back up, and runs at Hurricane. Hurricane hits Bubba with a clothesline, but Bubba rises to his feet again, running at Hurricane. Hurricane with another clothesline. Bubba rises once more and runs towards Hurricane, who once again goes for the clothesline. This time, Bubba ducks it, and runs behind Hurricane. Hurricane turns, and Bubba kicks him in the gut. Hurricane bends over, and Bubba places the Hurricanes head between his legs, lifting him into the air. Bubba spins around, and finally lowers the boom, delivering a destructive sit down powerbomb onto the trashcan.
The crowd OOOh's at the awesome powerbomb.
The ref counts the pin. 1..............2...... Hurricane kicks out.
JR: OH MY GOD! HOW'D HE KICK OUT OF THAT ONE?!?!
Joe: It is Hurricane, he's one tough S.O.B!
Hurricane and Bubba both get to their feet, but Hurricane uses his intelligence, and grabs himself a chair, hiding it from Bubba. Hurricane speeds around, and nails Bubba in the head with the chair. Bubba just stares dazily, as Hurricane nails him again, and again, and again. Hurricane swings again, but Bubba dodges it, grabbing Hurricanes arm, and tossing him to the ropes. Bubba grabs the chair, and as Hurricane bounces back, smashes the chair into the face of the hurricane. Hurricane falls to the mat like a sack of potatoes. Bubba smiles, as he climbs to the top. He looks down at Hurricane, and jumps, looking for a senton. Hurricane rolls out of the way, in the last second, causing Bubba to land flat on his back. Both men lay on the mat, breathing heavily. Hurricane rises to his feet first, and reaches over for a stop sign. He then walks over to Bubba, and raises him to his feet. Hurricane looks back at the stop sign, and then at Bubba. Hurricane smashes the stop sign into Bubbas face, bending the sign right in half. Bubba falls on his back, and Hurricane looks for the pin. 1.................2
Joe: He's got him here!
Thr... BUBBA KICKS OUT! Hurricane curses, and looks around for something to grab.He once again grabs the steel chair, and looks over at Bubba. He swings the chair at his head, but Bubba grabs it. Bubba hits Hurricane right in the forehead with the chair, causing Hurricane to stumble around. Bubba gets behind Hurricane... AND HITS THE BUBBA BOMB!
Joe: OH MY GOD, THATS GOTTA HURT!
Bubba stands up, and the crowd cheers. Bubba looks around.
Bubba: BUBBA! GET THE TABLES!
Bubba slides out of the ring and searches underneath the ring apron. He finally pulls out a table, and slides it into the ring. The crowd goes nuts. Bubba slides back into the ring, and begins setting up the table. ((((END OF MATCH HERE))))
"Never Gonna Stop" by Rob Zombie pounds out the public announce system and Edge steps out from backstage wearing his trenchcoat. The crowd explodes!
LG: The following match is for the WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP! Making his way to the ring, weighing in at 240lbs. FROM TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA!!! EDGE!!!!!
JR: The fans seem to love Edge here in his hometown!
One of a kind hits, and RVD comes out onto the ramp.
And his opponent, weighing in at 220lbs. ROB VAN DAM!
The crowd gives mixed cheers, and RVD looks around. He puts his hands into the air, and points his thumbs at himself, saying "R...V...D" He smiles, and walks down to the ring. He slides in, and faces his opponent.
The bell rings, and the match starts off. The two men begin exchanging punches in the center of the ring, to the cheers of the fans. Edge gains the quick advantage, by reversing one of RVD's punches. Edge grabs RVD and throws him to the ropes. Edge connects with a clothesline.
JR: Edge starting off quickly.
RVD quickly pulls himself to his feet, and turns to edge. Edge kicks RVD in the gut, and throws him to the ropes again. This time, Edge connects with a snap suplex, sending RVD skidding across the mat. RVD grins, and gets back up. Edge grabs RVD again, looking for the irish-whip, but this time RVD reverses it, sending Edge to the ropes. Edge bounces back, and RVD does the splits to the ground. Edge jumps over RVD, and bounces off the other ropes. RVD lifts his legs into the air, and sends edge flying over the top with a destructive catapult.
The crowd gasps, and RVD raises to his feet. He raises his arms into the air, and does his R....V....D taunt. Some of the audience chant with him, and the others just boo. At this time, Edge struggles on the outside to get to his feet.
JR: Will Edge be able to come back and win this match?
Edge slowly rises to his feet, and RVD climbs to the top turnbuckle, inside the ring. RVD looks out, and waits for Edge to rise. Edge rises, and RVD jumps down, kicking Edge right in the jaw, sending him flying back to the barrier. Edge graps the back of his head, as RVD walks over to him. RVD picks him up, and tosses him back into the ring. RVD turns back to the audience, taunting them, as most of the front row boos. At this time, Edge slowly rises to his feet in the ring. RVD finishes, and turns back, climbing into the ring. RVD climbs into the ring, and Edge suddenly flies at RVD, searching for a spear. RVD jumps out of the way, and Edge goes flying into the referee. Edge rises to his feet, jaw dropped at what just happened. Edge turns back to RVD, who catches his with a huge kick to the face.
Joe: GOOD GOD! THE VAN-DAMINATOR! HE NAILED THE VAN-DAMINATOR!
JR: The ref's out cold!
RVD notcies the ref clutching his gut on the ground, and decides to slide out of the ring. RVD lifts the apron, revealing a 15 foot ladder underneath the ring. The crowd cheers, as RVD lifts the ladder out from underneath the ring, and slides it into the ring. He then drops the apron, and slides into the ring. He begins setting up the ladder He finishes setting it up, and walks over to Edge. He pulls Edge up to his feet, and knocks him down with a spinning heel kick. RVD then looks up to the top of the ladder. He runs around, and climbs up. He reaches the top, and looks off. He climbs to the very top, and flies off, delivering a huge 5-star frog splash. He rolls off, clutching his stomach, and pulls himself back together. He slides over for the pin.
Joe: The Ref's still down you idiot!
RVD lets the pin go, and walks over to the referee, trying to wake him up, to no avail. RVD turns around, just in time to get hit with a huge spear from Edge. Edge notices he ladder, and limps over to the far side. He begins to slowly climb, and with his last bit of energy, RVD rises, and begins to also climb the ladder. They both meet at the very top, and begin exchanging punches. They exchange until neither can take anymore. The Ref begins to move, slowly rising up. All of a sudden, Edge swings at RVD, but RVD deeks left, just missing the punch. RVD grabs Edge's head, and lifts him up into the air. RVD drops Edge down hard onto the mat with a kind of let go superplex, leaving RVD standing on top of the ladder. He taunts to the audience using his thumbs and silently chanting R...V...D! RVD climbs the last steps to the top, and flies off hitting a second five-star frog splash. He stays on Edge for the pin. The Ref slowly crawls over to the scene of the pin, as a mysterious man jumps the barrier, getting by the security. The Ref counts 1...................2............ But then all of the sudden, the mysterious man slides into the ring, and pulls RVD off of Edge, locking on an ankle-lock symultaniously. RVD yells in pain, as the Ref calls for the bell.
Joe: HOLY SHIT! IS THAT HIM? IS THAT WHO I THINK IT IS!?!
JR: IT'S KEN SHAMROCK! KEN SHAMROCK FROM THE UFC! HE'S BACK!
Shamrock releases RVD and jumps over to Edge. He grabs Edge by the hair, and lifts him to his feet. He hits a perfect fisherman suplex, bringing Edge back down to the mat. He then grabs Edge in an arm bar. Edge screams in pain, as Shamrock turns back to the ankle of Edge. Shamrock tightens the hold, causing Edge to release a blood curdling scream. Ken Shamrock yells out, a vein bulging in his neck. WWE officials run out to the ring, and break up the hold. The hold the crazed shamrock from doing more damage.
JR: I wonder what he wants?
Joe: I'm going to find out.
Joe removes his headset, and grabs a mic, sliding in the ring.
RVD walks up to Joe, and grabs the mic.
RVD: You know what? I've had enough of this fed already. I was this close to winning the IC title, until this bitch came out, and messed everything up. I've had enough. I don't want to have to face him for the IC title, I quit.
Joe grabs the mic back from RVD
Joe: That's fine with me. I wasn't even gonna put you in a match against Shamrock, but it's your decision.
Joe: Now Shamrock, I just saw you jump in this ring and interrupt one of the greatest matches in WWE history, you must want something.
Shamrock voices something out.
Joe: You know what? I don't care what you want! Instead of asking, I'm gonna give you something! And that something is...... next week on RAW, you and your budy Edge here... Will have a match to once again decide the Intercontinental Champion.
Shamrock nods, and slides out of the ring. "Danger man" hits, and Joe walks back to the announcers booth.
JR: There you have it folks, next week on RAW we'll hopefully get to finally see our new WWE Intercontinental Champion! Number one contendership match-up after these messages!
