2.8 news and updates   11-09-02
Well after Dave and I pulled the crank and plastigauged the bearings.  We discovered the knocks in the bottom end area are the main bearings, they are wiped completely clean down to the copper.  I priced crank kits for a 2.8 at 2 different part stores.  I got prices between 240 and 160.  I got a few more places to call yet then I'll get my crank.  It's been about 2 months since I did any work to the car.  I was just so disgusted with all the work we all did to the car and it turns out to be a junk motor.  I think I'm ready to start working on the beast agian.  I also thought of sellling but, to many ricers are popping up all over the place now.  I gotta show them up.
