Grandpa
Grandpa, you christened me,
and made the evil spirits flee.
I was told you had so much pride,
to have your grandson so close beside.
When you placed water upon me, I cried,
so you comforted me by taking me aside.
But at your funeral I cried,
but this time you werent there to take me aside.
But I dont blame you,
I could never, I love you.
But each day since you've been here,
in my heart to wipe away a tear.
You did gods commands,
but here he no longer stands.
Im sad that you havent been here to see me grow,
but you've been here in spirit and soul, I just know.
I hope your proud of me,
as much as that day when you held me.
I have done my best looking after mum for you,
god how much she misses you and needs you.
Grandpa God placed you apon this place,
so he must of had a reason to take you from this place.
Why does god take the greatest people, is it his law?
because if thats true, thats why he took my dear Grandpa.
