TEAM SANDSTORM holds the Best of Show title for the City of Treasure Island's Pirate Days in 2000 and 2001 and created the famous 2-story castle at the Tradewinds Resort during the weekend of July 4th, 2002. We've had castles featured in various national ad campaigns, including Porshe, Barefoot Wines and Crown Royal.

The H&R Train Show

We won Best of Show as well as Best of Class at the H&R Train Show, April 2-5, 2004! Bachmann Trains was so impressed that they have agreed to sponsor us so that we can demonstrate that their trains work well, even in sand. What Sort of Art is This?

We were interviewed for a college term paper, and the student informed us that this is true American 'folk art'. But the term 'folk art' seems so primitive. Since our castles are multi-media, aren't we closer to modern Kinetic Art instead? Come see our next castle, and let us know what you think.
